Dear Readers,
Serpentine Magazine brings you Comic-Con in all it's splendor and glory. It was a fun time for everyone who went, but for the Serpentine staff, it gave us the opportunity of meeting our heroes in the literary format known none other than comics. It was a trip from Staten Island to the ferry to the city.
From there we braved the gusty cold weather and finally arrived to the Jacob Javits Center. All the greats were there from Kevin Smith to Paul Dini. Joe Quesada, Jhonen Vasquez, Kevin Smith and the creator of Marvel Comics, Stan Lee. If that's not enough, we also had several fans who participated in cosplay which is a term commonly used to define costume play. What do fans dress up as you say? Comic book characters from everyone's favorite comic books, of course! Take a look!
Comic-con is a great time and place for you to meet you're favorite writers and artist and an excellent way for you to network and see what's on the rise for upcoming titles, games and shows. If business isn't your cup of tea, then Comic-Con is a simple way to meet people like yourselves. Check out some more pictures!
As before, it was a great experience. It was also very tiring and chances are this will be the only Con we will cover until next year. Stay tuned for more news, reviews and interviews... and yes, the Official Serpentine Podcast! So good.. you might want to fight a guy or two!!!
